About the makers at Bear Art Studios:

Glass is their medium of choice. They are dedicated to creating unique handmade items that are elegant, fun and functional.At Bear Art the designs are developed by hand and on the computer. Once the design phase is complete, a stencil is cut and adhered to the glass. Each piece is carefully taped to create clear / crisp images. The next step is the sand blasting process. Each step is hand done by owners Elvy and Dave in the Bear Art studio.

Elvy and Dave say;  "We believe everyone deserves some art in their everyday life. Our artistic goal is to showcase the skill of the craftsman. With nature as our passion,  we use a unique double sandblasting process to gives our original design depth and detail. This etching process coupled with a smooth frost forms shadows that provide an additional three dimensional character to our designs. Each piece of glass is individually sand carved, so that no two pieces will be exactly alike."
