50th Anniversary Celebration of the OC Market Place!

On October 26th, 2019 come join us for one HUGE birthday party celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the OC Market Place!!!

Mobile Learning Experience
If you love the ocean, lakes, rivers, and wetlands, then you won’t want to miss the Wyland Clean Mobile Learning Center, a fully immersive, interactive 1,000 square foot science center on wheels. This award-winning exhibit has traveled the nation, reaching nearly one million children and families.  Guests discover, interact with and learn about the wonder of our coasts and the importance of sustaining our coasts, lakes, rivers, streams, and wetlands. Hands on activities include interactive enviroscape with actual falling rain, computer model simulations, science experiments, a running river, and a 40-person onboard interactive 4D movie experience.

Paint a Marine Life Mural
Celebrate the beautify of our ocean through art. Join the Wyland Foundation team and guests artists on the creation of a 50-square foot marine life mural. No art experience necessary. Open to all ages. All materials provided, including paints, brushes, templates, and aprons.

Water Pledge / Bracelet Making
Take the Wyland Foundation’s fun interactive water pledge activity. It’s a great way to learn how we can all protect our coasts and waterways. Plus, all guests who make a pledge can to take part in one of our most fun craft activities by making their own colorful beaded pledge bracelet.
