Wyland National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation
Every year, we invite mayors and residents across the United States to take the National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation, April 1-30. Now in its 13th year, this landmark community service campaign brings entire cities together in a friendly competition to see who can be the most waterwise for the month of April through a series of online pledges and volunteer actions to ensure a reliable supply of fresh, clean water and the sustained health of our coasts, lakes, rivers, streams, and wetlands. Plus, we’ve given hundreds of thousands of dollars in prizes away, including vehicles for deserving charities, free utilities for a year, home irrigation and landscape equipment, home improvement gift cards, and more. Presented by the Wyland Foundation, with support from the US EPA Watersense, National League of Cities, KCAL9 / CBS2 and The Toro Company. Teachers, classes, and students can participate too.
