Absorbent Ceramic Car Coasters – Set of 2 Choose a Design

SKU: WFMCC-CC-2PC Categories: , Tag:

$15.00

We love these quality handcrafted absorbent clay drink coasters! The porous nature of their clay naturally pulls condensation away from your drink. They fit nicely into most car and truck cup holders. They are a sustainable solution to avoid having to use paper products to clean up condensation from your icy drinks. These aren’t only beautifully crafted, they are the most absorbent reusable option we’ve found!  And, they are handcrafted in the USA!

Choose from:

  • Octopus – set of 2
  • Alligator – set of 2
  • Crab – set of 2
  • Sand Dollar – set of 2
  • Sea Turtle – set of 2
  • Flamingo set of 2
  • Manatee – set of 2
  • Smiley Face – set of 2
  • Starfish – set of 2

It’s art that works naturally! The coasters are carved from modeling clay, then hand-pressed, stained and fired. Every facet of manufacturing, from design, sculpture, and shipping is done in-house to ensure that quality standards are maintained.

  • Set of 2
  • Measures 2.5″ diameter
  • Handmade in the USA since 1995
  • Highly absorbent all natural bisque clay
  • Clean with any mild bleach product

Shayne McCarter has always enjoyed art. Two dimensional oil paintings and illustrations were his specialty throughout the 1980’s. After graduating from the University of Memphis art school in 1986, he started working as a product developer, then a few years later an art director for a small gift company in Memphis. In the early 1990’s he enjoyed showing and selling his artwork, hand-painted three dimensional sculptures, at local craft fairs around the Mid-South. In 1995 Shayne created his first coaster design.
