TEACHER RESOURCES
Activities to Inspire the Classroom: We provide a range of teacher resources, lesson plans and student activities to inform and inspire. Our marine life art and science materials build creativity and reinforce science standards for most grade levels, K-8. If you’re an educator who would like to contribute a lesson or activity, please share your interest on our volunteer page.

Activities to Get Involved in the Community
MYVOLUNTEER WATER PROJECT

Simply log into the Wyland Foundation’s free web app, MyVolunteer Water Project, with with our wonderful partner Ecochallenge. Join a team or create one, then pick a simple project that you can do at home, in the yard, or around the community. Best of all, every project you complete earns you and your city a chance to win prizes in the annual Wyland National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation.

BEACH CLEAN-UP INSTRUCTIONS AND MATERIALS
It is easy to organize a clean-up in your area. Here’s how:
Since the very beginning, the Wyland Foundation has worked to get local communities involved in protecting and preserving their aquatic habitats. Clean-ups are a great way to inspire people to be better stewards right in their own hometowns. Challenging communities to join us in clean-up efforts along our tour routes throughout the years has left behind lasting impacts and miles of litter-free zones.
